IMG 0304 1479604782 O M Ron Howards Rush : Official Movie Trailer spyshots news

After nearly two years of production and live footage of the 1976 season F1 cars racing on various tracks including the Nurburgring, Ron Howard has finally revealed the first trailer for his next film, Rush.

Based on the true story of the 1976 F1 racing season, the adrenaline-filled film stars Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt, the cocky upstart British racer (and, later, commentator) and Daniel Bruhl as Niki Lauda, the established Austrian champion.

We’ve been following this film since we spied the production team filming on the Nordschleife in Germany. After nearly 2 years, we now get to watch some actual finished footage and it looks outstanding.

3 M Mercedes AMG SLS Black Series (On Fire!!) spyshots mercedes models
Here are the latest spyshot’s of the upcoming flagship version of the SLS dubbed the unmistakable AMG SLS Black-Series.

The Black Series has been spotted several times. But today we got it with the front totally without cammo and sporting a very large fixed wing.

And only the day after the new family of the AMG Black Series, caught fire on the Nordschleife while testing.

Initial reports this was simply an engine fire but after completing nearly a full lap, It looks like this could be from the rear brakes.

The driver escaped without any injuries, but the prototype has died a warriors death and gone up in flames.

The wide arches which are shrouding the tyres have more aggressive nature, and housing larger tyres than the standard SLS, rumored with a weight reduction of around 45 kg, and rumor has it that this will only be available as the gullwing.

The huge scoops on the front hint of the use of forced induction but this is unlikely the case, as the naturally aspirated 6.2 liter v-8 is hinted to have a few more tricks up its elongated sleeve and perhaps will be an engineered increased capacity of 6.4 along with improvements in weight and updated gearbox it is likely to exceed 600hp.

Ferrari F40 Wreck Ferrari F40 Crash Canada news ferrari models

Video footage has surfaced showing the result of a Ferrari F40 that crashed in the Canadian city of Vancouver.

The cause of the crash is likely to be wet weather and looks a total loss as it bleeds its engine oil over the street, but with only 1300 models in existence it would be a shame if this wasn’t painstakingly restored to its former glory.

Both passengers escaped with minor injuries unlike the $500,000 F40, Get well Soon!

foley crash pikes peak 2012 500x248 Huge Crash at Pikes Peak Jeremy Foleys Evo news
On Sunday at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb had to be red flagged due to a huge accident at the Devils Playground.

Hill Climb rookie Jeremy Foley’s Mitsubishi Evolution 8 veered off course near Mile 16, and rescue crews lifted both he and co-driver Yuri Kouznetsov to an area hospital. KRDO reportedly said Foley had a broken leg, but nothing was confirmed.

The news Article at the Colorado Springs Gazette, reported it rather like a small race incident.

On watching the video here we decided that the car was involved in a horrendous spin turning over nearly 10 times down a guesstimate 150ft drop.

It’s good that the safety equipment saved the driver and codriver from serious injury.

Here are a set off pictures we don’t come across often it shows the current model Lamborghini Aventador testing in the extreme cold climates of Northern Sweden.

After our previous photographs of the Aventador Roadster we thought we had an opportunity in better light to snap the car.

As the car approached the intersection, at a speed that appeared faster than the posted speed limit, the driver lost control, skidded through the intersection and crashed into a large snow bank.

Then the red faced Italian test driver took offence from this rather legendary photo opportunity and approached in an aggressive manner apart from a comedy slippery advance.

The time he got to us he realised that this wasn’t the streets of Corleone and basically retreated back to the vehicle after a few mutterings.

By the time an Audi A6 allroad, equipped with a winch, came to pull the raging bull out of the snow, things had calmed down.

The driver scooped the snow out of the car, gave us a large smile and a big thumbs up, and got back to work! Not exactly the finger we were expecting to see.

Fortunately, the driver, and the car, came away from the mishap totally unharmed.

I often wonder that as time goes on and car manufacturers make the cars heavier and introduce many safety systems, it tends to remove a lot of character from the car but results car insurance UK to be cheaper.

One of my favorite examples is the AC Cobra which is unlikely to ever be matched in style due to lack of safety systems, the fact that the roll bar behind the driver is leaving any passenger at risk from a severe perhaps fatal gravel rash.

However, the AC Cobra replica at a speed of more than 130mph suffered mechanical failure or an incorrectly fitted part caused an horrific crash.

The car skidded on track for more than 20 meters and then hooked itself in to a multiple flip as the 3 point harness and the roll bar saved the drivers life.

Luckily the driver walked away from the crash with light bruising and a sore knee but unfortunately the car was a Wreck.

The Moto-GP race at Malaysia today was cancelled due to a horrific accident, resulting in the death of Marco Simoncelli.

His death comes a week after those of Baja Racer Rick Husemen and fellow Brit Dan Wheldon at Indy 500.

The horrific accident happened on the second lap of the Malaysian GP Circuit where his bike lost control of the Honda and catapulted on to oncoming riders Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi.

Condolences go out to the family of Marco Simoncelli and friends and colleagues.

I am not going to show you the video as I feel personally its bad taste to publish the death of anyone including Gaddafi.
