Here is the first official video & Photos of the track-only version of the new 911 GT3 cup lapping the purpose built test track at Weissach near Stuttgart Germany.

We expect the 2013 911 GT3 Cup will be officially unveiled very soon in time for the 2013 racing season.

Like the outgoing model we expect the 911 GT3 Cup to have the same specification as the road going street racer the GT3 RS of course sporting carpets and more road going niceties.

The regular 2013 911 GT3 will probably be unveiled along with the hard-core RS variant at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The car will have slightly more power than the 450 HP output from the 2012 model, also more improved efficiencies inside the 3.8-liter flat six that’s likely to power it.
